Bats flying out over a Lismore sunset. The bats flyout every evening and I draw them everyday. Bats are symbols of transition, of initiation, and the start of a new beginning.

A holographic display case containing the pure joy and happiness of getting up, vandalism and the power of destructive art practices. The paint filled fire extinguisher is a volatile and highly unpredictable device and the outcome when using this pressurised mark making tool is somewhat known but mostly unknown and experimental but brings with it the pure joy of graffiti.

Fire extinguisher filled with white paint, pressurized to 690kPa, aimed at a blue wall in 6 Club Lane Lismore, discharged for 33 seconds. Result photographed and minted to the Ethereum blockchain.
This translation of graffiti into contemporary art by way of performance, video and photography speaks to the power of destructive art practices, vandalism and social behaviors through the process of mark making and documentation.
This work only exists as a number of digital photographs alongside a 2 simultaneous video recordings. Not long after I made the work it was painted over.

DISTRACTED IDENTITY BLOCKPARTYJanuary 2022
DISTRACTED IDENTITIES are a series of 15 characters of mischievous origin. Each character will become part of a greater composite artwork titled “Distracted Identity Blockparty” in which the clustered layout is determined depending on when you arrive at the party (the order in which each character is collected). Once the party is full the composite artwork will be created the individual blocks will be updated accordingly to show a hint of the other characters that sit either side, above and below.
Distracted Identities are an extension of the mask and character creations that I have been drawing over the years. Originally drawn in a cluster the characters in this NFT project have been broken apart. Sharing these 15 characters with collectors will in turn unite them once again as the compositing process brings them all back together determined by the order in which the characters are collected. I was invited to be part of an exhibtition in Austria called "tiny ARt" on Nov 22nd & 23rd 2017 at Improper Walls Gallery. It features a range of artworks that in real life are no bigger than a business card. The augmented reality layer will enhance the artworks in the digital dimension to reveal what the artwork in AR has to offer using the Artivive App.

I had the honour of being asked to paint some murals in pediatrics ward in the new addition to the Lismore Base Hospital. Alongside 11 other local artists we worked days and nights to adorn the rooms and common areas with our art before the floor was officially opened in November.
